What is Smug Life?
- Smug Life is a state of being for Black women, who repeatedly conquer the most difficult of obstacles to exceed all expectations.
- Black women are the most maligned and the most refined.
- Black women are overachieving yet underrated.
- Black women are beloved when we come through for others, but reviled when we center ourselves.
- Black women are trusted with the most precious gifts- our children- but suspected of the most mundane malfeasance.
- Black women are highly visible yet invisible.
- Black women are constantly undermined when elevated.
- Smug Life is the trifecta of being melanated, educated, and sophisticated.
- Smug Life is the indignation that we feel at the daily indignities we face.

At Smug Life, we have a passion for helping Black women succeed on their own terms. We see the demand for a centralized product and service center, catering to the discerning and diverse tastes of Black women, so we set out to create a company that would meet that need. Today, we uphold the same passion and commitment to excellence exhibited by Black women everywhere!
